THE MUSIC MASTERMINDS

The uncompromising, urban inspirational gospel-soul band, SENSERE, is known for combining electrifying elements of Funk and Soul with their exquisite harmonies and full-bodied sounds. SENSERE launched their burgeoning career in 2003. The group partnered with music veteran Eddie Pugh in 2008 and helped propel the band into national notoriety. In 2011, the band released their debut album, THE SOUL OF FUTURE WORSHIP VOL. 1. This project spawned their buzz-worthy debut single and concept music video, “Got Jesus.” The video became a mainstay on MTV.com and fueled national television appearances including; Bobby Jones Gospel, TBN, and The 700 Club, just to name a few. Additionally, SENSERE was the first inspirational act to perform at South Florida’s prestigious, annual Jazz In The Gardens Music Festival, sharing the stage with multi-platinum selling artists; Kenny G, Patti Labelle, and Mary J. Blige.

After a four-year hiatus, in 2015, the band released their sophomore effort, KINGDOM THERAPY, along with a live DVD set. The band reached #13 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums and produced notable singles “Love” and “Holla.” That same year, the band appeared on the inaugural installment of GERALD "DA GOSPEL TRUTH" JONES PRESENTS: INDEPENDENT SPIRIT VOL. 1 compilation album. SENSERE'S single "If It Had Not Been," served as the project’s lead radio single.

Paying homage to legendary group Commissioned, who revolutionized the sound of Contemporary Gospel, SENSERE returned with their remake of the classic hymn "Tis So Sweet," in early 2017. The song was met with rave reviews and one industry insider described the single as, "...an encapsulating masterpiece, masterfully rooted in authenticity." Almost a year later, right in time for Valentine's Day, SENSERE released their first R&B ballad, “Baby,” featuring celebrated R&B/Jazz singer, Paula Champion.

In June 2018, the band released their biggest hit to date, “Win.” In November of that same year, SENSERE celebrated a career first by entering the Billboard Top 30 at #29 on the Gospel Airplay chart and #23 on the Mediabase Gospel Radio chart. Soon thereafter, SENSERE made their nationally televised award show debut as the show's openers for the 2nd Annual SOAR Gospel Radio Awards, which aired on The Word Network in November 2018.

During the first quarter of 2019, SENSERE released their most seasoned body of work, GOD, FAMILY, THE BAND Vol. 1, which featured the top 30 smash "Win," along with "Come Around" ft. Anesha Birchett, "Higher" ft. Lisa Knowles, and "My Hope." In December of 2019, via WrightSound Records and distributed by Indieblu, SENSERE released their first-holiday project, A SENSERE CHRISTMAS.

Since that time, SENSERE has appeared on TV One's Gospel Superfest and have shared the stage with chart topping Gospel artists such as; Jonathan McReynolds, Marvin Sapp, John P. Kee, Le'Andria Johnson, Hezekiah Walker, Dawkins & Dawkins, among many others. They've also released several singles in the past 3 years ;"Do It," "Been Good" ft. The Williams Singers, "Holding On," and "Dance."

After a brief hiatus, SENSERE is back dipping into their R&B roots once again, with a remake of one of the band's biggest musical influences, Earth, Wind, and Fire's "Fantasy." The single is set to drop May 27th, 2022, while the guys put the finishing touches on their 4th full-length release expected to drop later this year.
